Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 17 December 2025
Choicevector is committed to ensuring that our online learning platform and all associated digital content are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We believe that education should be available to everyone, and we actively work to remove barriers that may prevent full participation in our courses and services.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to recognised international accessibility standards and guidelines. Our goal is to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a minimum standard. We review our platform regularly and make improvements as technology and best practices evolve.
Scope
This statement applies to all pages and features available under the choicevector.info domain, including course content, lesson interfaces, account management areas, and all publicly accessible pages.
Accessibility Features
Perceivable Content
- All non-text content is provided with meaningful text alternatives where applicable.
- Content is structured using semantic HTML to support assistive technologies.
- Colour is not used as the sole means of conveying information.
- Text and background colour combinations are selected to meet minimum contrast requirements.
- Text can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.
Operable Interface
- All functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse or pointer device.
- Focus indicators are visible and clearly distinguish the currently active element.
- No content relies solely on time limits to operate, or time limits can be extended or disabled.
- We avoid content that flashes more than three times per second, which may cause seizures in susceptible individuals.
- Navigation is consistent and predictable across all pages.
Understandable Presentation
- The language of each page is identified in the page markup to support screen readers and translation tools.
- Form fields and interactive elements include clear labels and descriptive instructions.
- Error messages are specific, descriptive, and suggest corrections where possible.
- Page behaviour does not change unexpectedly when an element receives focus or when input is provided.
Robust Compatibility
- Our platform is built to be compatible with current and widely used assistive technologies, including screen readers and voice input software.
- We use valid, standards-compliant HTML and CSS to maximise compatibility across browsers and devices.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. We are actively working to identify and address these gaps. Known areas under active improvement include:
- Certain third-party embedded tools or media players that are outside our direct control.
- Legacy course content created before our current accessibility standards were adopted.
- Complex interactive exercises that are being reviewed and updated progressively.
We prioritise remediation based on the impact on users and the frequency with which the affected content is accessed.
Assistive Technology Support
Our platform is designed and tested to work with the following types of assistive technology:
- Screen readers used in combination with major desktop and mobile browsers.
- Keyboard-only navigation.
- Browser-based zoom and text scaling tools.
- High contrast display modes.
- Voice recognition and dictation software.
We recommend using an up-to-date browser and the latest version of your preferred assistive technology for the best experience.
Alternative Formats and Accommodations
If you require course content or platform information in an alternative format, or if you need a specific accommodation to access our services, please contact us directly. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the content or support you need in a timely manner.
Alternative formats we can provide upon request include:
- Plain text versions of written course materials.
- Transcripts for audio and video content.
- High contrast or simplified layout versions where feasible.
Feedback and Reporting Issues
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing any part of our service, or if you believe something does not meet the accessibility standards described in this statement, please let us know.
When reporting an issue, it is helpful to include:
- A description of the barrier or difficulty you experienced.
- The page or feature where the issue occurred.
- The browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using, if known.

Third-Party Content and Tools
Our platform may incorporate content, tools, or services provided by third parties. While we make reasonable efforts to select accessible third-party solutions, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or functionality that is entirely outside our control. Where third-party tools present accessibility barriers, we will seek alternatives or provide equivalent accessible options where possible.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time effort. We conduct periodic reviews of our platform, incorporate accessibility considerations into our development process, and provide guidance to our content creators on producing accessible learning materials. We update this statement as our practices and platform evolve.
We encourage users to contact us at any time with suggestions for improvement. Your feedback directly informs our accessibility roadmap.
Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may wish to escalate your complaint through the appropriate consumer or digital rights channels available in your region. We remain committed to resolving all accessibility-related issues in good faith and in a timely manner.
